Barbara Verwayen – Clusterregisseur Cluster 6

Barbara has dedicated her working career to speeding up energy transition.

Starting in the regional government; paving the way for the development of the industry of the future. Followed by several commercial and management roles in the chemical and food industry. Since three years she runs her own company.

She was appointed by the minister of Economic Affairs with the challenging task to speed up the transition for Cluster6 industry, the regional (manufacturing) industry, in close cooperation with the Dutch energy network operators and the governments.

Barbara also fulfills several a supervisory positions.
